User Data Deletion

Introduction

SnapMealz is a mobile-only application available on iOS and Android. We respect your right to remove personal data at any time. Below, we describe how to permanently delete your account and all associated information.

Steps to Delete Your Account

1. Open SnapMealz Settings

**Because SnapMealz accounts are created only from within the app, you’ll already have the app installed if you have an account.** Log in via Apple, Google, or Facebook, then go to the Settings section from the main menu.

2. Choose 'Delete Account'

Tap on "Delete Account" (or similarly named) to initiate account removal. This will trigger:

  • Removal of your user profile from Firebase Auth, Apple, Google, or Facebook login records.
  • Erasure of all meal logs, nutritional data, and stored content tied to your account.
  • Revocation of any third-party sign-in tokens specific to SnapMealz.

3. Confirmation

You will see a confirmation prompt in the app. After you confirm, all your data is typically removed from our servers within 72 hours.

Potential Exceptions

If you encounter any issues or do not receive a confirmation, please contact support@snapmealz.com. Some aggregated, anonymized analytics may remain, but none of it can identify you after your account is deleted.

If in-app deletion fails, or you prefer a direct approach, email us at support@snapmealz.com with the subject 'Account Deletion Request.' We will gladly assist you.
