SnapMealz Adds Advanced Customization Features
Version 1.1.85 delivers powerful customization features that put you in complete control of your nutrition tracking experience. Based on extensive user feedback, we've introduced the ability to customize your daily nutrition targets and edit food timestamps, making SnapMealz adaptable to any dietary requirement or lifestyle.
Edit Nutrition Targets
Every individual's nutritional needs are unique, and now SnapMealz adapts to yours. You can customize your daily nutrition goals to perfectly match your dietary requirements, whether you're following a specific diet plan, managing medical conditions, or pursuing athletic performance goals.
Access your nutrition goals through Settings and adjust your calorie targets based on your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) and personal objectives. Set custom macronutrient ratios for proteins, carbohydrates, and fats to match your specific diet plan, whether you're following a ketogenic diet, bodybuilding macro split, or balanced nutrition approach. You can also customize micronutrient targets for vitamins and minerals, and even create different targets for training and rest days.
This feature is particularly valuable for athletes who need precise macro control during bulking or cutting phases, individuals managing medical conditions like diabetes who need to track specific nutrients, and anyone following structured meal plans that require exact nutritional targets.
Edit Food Timestamps
Life doesn't always happen on schedule, and your food tracking shouldn't have to either. The new timestamp editing feature provides the flexibility you need for real-world tracking. Simply tap any logged meal and select 'Edit Time' to adjust when you ate it.
This feature is essential for accurately tracking intermittent fasting windows, logging meals retroactively when you couldn't track in real-time, maintaining accurate records when traveling across time zones, and ensuring your meal patterns are correctly reflected in your daily logs. Whether you're a busy professional logging meals at the end of the day or someone following a strict eating schedule, this feature ensures your tracking remains accurate and meaningful.
Improvements and Bug Fixes
This update also includes several important improvements to enhance your experience. We've added a confirmation dialog when deleting food items to prevent accidental removal of your carefully logged meals. This simple but crucial feature provides peace of mind while managing your food diary.
We've fixed issues with modal windows not closing properly when swiping down, resulting in smoother navigation throughout the app. Additionally, we've improved date handling for better timezone support, ensuring your meal times are accurate regardless of your location. These technical improvements work together to provide a more reliable and user-friendly experience.
Real-World Applications
These customization features address diverse user needs across different lifestyles and health goals. Athletes and bodybuilders can precisely control macro ratios and adjust targets for different training phases. Those managing medical conditions can set specific limits for nutrients like sodium, sugar, or carbohydrates. Intermittent fasting practitioners can accurately track their eating windows, and busy professionals can log meals retroactively with correct timestamps.
Looking Forward
These customization features represent our commitment to making SnapMealz work perfectly for your individual needs. We believe that effective nutrition tracking should adapt to your lifestyle, not the other way around. The team is already working on additional features based on user feedback, with a continued focus on personalization and ease of use.
